Central Massachusetts emo outfit Good Sleepy has released a new melodic single, “LOOMING.” This is their final single off their upcoming sophomore LP CONSTANT HUMMING set for release on February 13th, 2026.
Good Sleepy offers a moment of clarity with their new track. While still grounded in honest, hard-hitting feelings and intensity in performance, the song leans into a more melodic, indie groove that feels open and inviting. Bright hooks contrasting an anxious undercurrent make this one of the band’s most immediately engaging tracks to date. As the final single ahead of their forthcoming LP, “LOOMING” examines the abrasive grind of modern daily life, rooted in a longing for the comfort and nostalgia of the past.
Good Sleepy shared their thoughts on the new single below:
"’LOOMING’ is the third and final single release from our upcoming 14-track LP. This is one of our favorites off of the upcoming album, and we're stoked to finally be putting it out there. It showcases a side of the album that's a bit more indie rock and pop influenced. It's still hard-hitting and emotional, but has a more lighthearted feel to it than what we typically write. It's a relatable and catchy song that we thought most people could easily get down with.”
Constant Humming follows the band’s 2021 debut LP everysinglelittlebit (No Sleep Records), which was produced by Chris Freeman (Hot Mulligan) and Gary Cioni (Crime in Stereo). While their first record experimented with ambient soundscapes blended with their Midwest emo roots, this new record finds Good Sleepy refining and fully embracing a signature sound that’s uniquely their own – raw, dynamic, and emotionally resonant.
