Southern California melodic punk outfit CHASER hacve announced Gonna Be Alright, a new 2-song 7” that captures the band’s core ethos: positivity, connection, and resilience. Featuring two deeply personal and uplifting tracks—“Three Little Birds” and “My Promise”—the release arrives May 29, 2026, with vinyl copies available exclusively at live shows.
Designed as a cohesive two-sided experience, Gonna Be Alright presents two interconnected songs that speak to hope, family, and the power of music to bring people together—values CHASER have championed both on record and on stage.
The first single, a reimagined version of Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds,” drops May 22. CHASER transform the timeless classic into a high-energy punk singalong while preserving its message of optimism and unity.
“When my son was born, the first song I sang to him in the hospital was ‘Three Little Birds,’” says bassist Jesse Stopnitzky. “So we reimagined it as an upbeat punk rock version, adding our thumbprint while keeping that message of positivity, hope, and unity intact. It’s a feel-good reminder that everything’s gonna be alright--something we could all use right now.”
The second track, “My Promise,” arrives May 29 alongside the full 7”. Originally released as an acoustic song on CHASER’s 2010 album The Big Picture, the track has been reworked into a soaring melodic punk anthem.
“I wrote ‘My Promise’ for my daughter when she was born in 2006,” explains vocalist Mike LeDonne. “It’s about protecting the people you love and guiding them through life. Twenty years later, this version carries a new perspective on parenthood, but the message is just as pure.”
Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Paul Miner at Buzzbomb Studios in Orange, California, Gonna Be Alright also features standout visual contributions from artists Mark De Salvo and Samuel Lucas. Each side of the vinyl showcases a distinct artistic style—contrasting tones that reflect the emotional depth of “My Promise” and the bright, uplifting spirit of “Three Little Birds,” while remaining unified through themes of hope and light.
