Minneapolis-based rapper Andy Bothwell, better known by his stage name Astronautalis, signed with SideOneDummy. The two have a lot in common through their independent and often-times DIY approach, and will now come together to release a brand new Astronautalis album in 2016.

"These days, if a record label can stay in business for 20 years, it is down right impressive," Bothwell says. "But a label that can stay in business for 20 years, staying true to their indie roots, riding for DIY weirdos like me, all while being impossibly nice people? That is a christmas fucking miracle!"

Today, fans can hear "SIKE!," a blistering new single from Astronautalis. Produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Modest Mouse, Bill Callahan) and beat by Adam Pickrell (St. Vincent), it's a feisty and assertive track featuring horns by Reggie Pace (Bon Iver, No BS! Brass Band) that The A.V. Club declares is "brimming with energy and befitting of its exclamation point."
