Useless Eaters is the moniker under which Seth Sutton (a former Jay Reatard collaborator) drops his tunes. On “Hypertension” the good man once again dishes out songs that have as much in common with Wire as they do with Television. So expect plenty of sharp riffs, relentless drums and Sutton’s heavily distorted vocals.

Contrary to his previous work, the songs are a little less lo-fi this time around, which in my humble opinion only makes “Hypertension” an even more enjoyable album.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
