Smakk Valley

Swedish outfit Psychopunch has a new album out called “Smakk Valley” and it’s more of the same that we are already used to from these guys. They come out swinging with songs that consist of equal parts rock ‘n roll and punk. Upbeat, melodic and not too complicated… that’s the formula these guys stick with in energetic tracks like “So Jaded” or “Emelie” yet they’re not afraid to slow things down in “Sitting By The Railroad” either. It makes “Smakk Valley” a fun yet not altogether remarkable album.
