Following up “Just Married”, Glocca Morra apparently spent their honeymoon holed up in the bedroom but rather than doing with newlyweds usually do there, these guys cranked out a new 4-song EP that would’ve been better if it wasn’t so annoyingly sloppy.
There is a lot to be said for sloppy, jangly music… Bomb The Music Industry and Bridge & Tunnel for example do a pretty solid job of it. Too much is simply too much however. Check out “Kaspar Hauser Lied” and hear how there is something there but you can’t really get ahold of it because it just sounds like a complete mess. Guess you love this or hate it… personally I prefer to listen to actual songs.
Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
