“Obviously Late” is Deathbed Reunion’s second EP and comes with four songs that should prove to be enough to reel you in and leave you wanting more. These Norwegian dudes mix up punk, rock, hardcore and screamo (not used as a dirty word here).
It’s groovy, it’s catchy despite some more angular guitar riffs and the Gallows-like screams give it just the right amount of grit. There’s plenty of melody to be found on here but chances are you’ll be too distracted by the band’s sense of urgency to even take notice at first.
I’m curious to see if they can keep up this kind of quality for an entire full-length. How about you?
