PRT: What made you first fall in love with the city?

CJ: The grittiness of 70’s and 80’s NYC was intense!

 

PRT: If you had to come up with a marketing slogan for the city, what would it be?

CJ: Capital of the World!!

PRT: Best place to play?

CJ: Bowery Electric

 

PRT: Best place to go for a late night drink after the show?

CJ: Manitoba's

 

PRT: Best place to go for a late night snack after the drink after the show?

CJ: Hah, a million of them.

 

PRT: Best touristy thing to do in the city?

CJ: Statue of Liberty

 

PRT: Best hidden spot in the city?

CJ: Edgar Allen Poe’s cottage up in the Bronx.

 

PRT: One thing you would like to see changed in the city?

CJ: Traffic!!!

 

PRT: What's your best memory about the city?

CJ: Shows at CBGB’s and the Continental

 

PRT: Where in the city did you get your heart broken?

CJ: World Trade Center, I worked at the Ground Zero site

 

PRT: Is there a historical fact about your city that makes you chuckle?

CJ: 1975 President Gerald Ford told us to “DROP DEAD"

 

PRT: Favorite song about your city you'd like to share, either yours or someone else's?

CJ: SHEENA IS A PUNK ROCKER!! “NEW YORK CITY REALLY HAS IT ALL, OH YEAH, OH YEAAAAH!!"
