Taking inspiration from the likes of Jawbreaker, Descendents, Alkaline Trio, The Bombpops, and others, Boston melodic punk band The Jacklights play energetic, hook-driven punk/pop-punk with thoughtful lyrics and a 90s alt rock influence. “Drift” is the band’s second EP, a follow up to their self-titled debut released in 2020. Alt-weekly Dig Boston said of Drift: “Potentially to be one of the top records to come out of Boston in 2021.”
