On their new single, “Up In Arms”, Massive Nightmares wax nostalgic about their formative years in Boston’s DIY scene. It serves as a triumphant celebration of the best parts of the local music community and the journey that it can take you on. It’s the final single before the release of their debut album, Ain’t My World, that was produced by Trevor Reilly of A Wilhelm Scream.

“‘Up In Arms’ takes its name from Myke’s first punk band, which Pat later joined on bass. The song looks back on their formative years spent playing in basements and garages, recording on 4-track tape, and building lifelong friendships through music. Lyrics and song titles from the original Up In Arms are woven throughout.” – Pat Lavalle

Ain’t My World will be released on October 30th via indie label Black Numbers and Massive Nightmares will be playing in Malden, MA on September 26th with more dates to be announced soon.
