Consisting of Rye Coalition’s frontman and drummer and the bassist and guitarist of The Want, Cold Fur is a new band that dives headfirst into 70s rock with a punky twist and stoner tendencies. Yup, “Altamont Every Night” mixes a bit of everything together and ends up danceable (except for the unpredictable parts) and catchy (except for the parts where it’s… well, not catchy).

These guys manage to make their songs sound like they will go off-road any second, yet they somehow manage to keep everything on the rails and end up with a raw and explosive album that rocks from start to finish.
