Never heard of these dudes before, but it turns out that The Good, The Bad And The Zugly are actually one of Norway’s best kept punkrock secrets. Or maybe the only best kept secret. Or maybe there is a good reason to keep them hidden? I’m not sure, but I do know that ‘Misanthropical House’ is a hell of a lot of fun to listen to.
Think of them as the bastard child of Turbonegro and Kvelertak or the hardcore version of Andrew W.K. if he were to take partying hard to whole new extremes. The Good, The Bad And The Zugly go full throttle as soon as opening track ‘H-Bomb’ kicks off and they don’t ease off the gas until the last notes of ‘Going Nowhere Fast’ have rung out. In between you get treated to a whole bunch of awesomeness in both English and Norwegian about actually not knowing the first thing about hardcore (‘I Lied About Being A Hardcore Man’) and needing a place to drink (‘I Need A Place To Drink’).
