Barely a year after the release of debut album ‘Get Well Soon’, the Real Sickies are already back at it with ‘Out Of Space’. This intergalactic affair comes with 13 tracks worth of three-chords-are-all-you-need riffs and a hard-hitting rhythm section alongside big choruses and more whoa oh’s than there are storylines in the Star Wars universe.

If you have ever spent any amount of time listening to the Ramones, Teenage Bottlerocket or Teenage Head, none of this will sound new to you. But hey, when you got cuts like the title track, ‘Not A Lifer’ or the organ-enhanced ‘It’s Been A While’, then I’m not going to bitch about it not being the most original album out there.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
