Five years after their debut, Hatchet is back with a new album and on a new label. With guitarist Julz Ramos as the only remaining original member, one could say this is a completely new band but hey, it’s a Bay Area thrash metal band… they all sound alike to begin with, don’t they?

Listening to “Dawn Of The End” is like listening to an Exodus or Testament album… tons of shredding, even more solos and a drummer that’s kicking the shit out of his kit. You’d be hard-pressed to find anything you haven’t heard before on other thrash metal albums but there are worse ways to spend your time than by listening to “Dawn Of The End”.
