When Ceremony floored a whole bunch of people in 2006 with “Violence, Violence”, it quickly became obvious that they were big fans of getting in, doing their thing fast and dirty and then getting the fuck out. Luckily for those of you who missed out, the band is now planning on doing the whole thing all over again with “Still Nothing Moves You”. With a couple of differences…

Like letting songs go on for four minutes. That’s something that was previously unheard of in Ceremony’s world! The agression and of course the violence, violence is still there but it’s no longer a single, quick bullet in the head. No, this time around the guys in Ceremony like to take their time. They want to make you hurt by throwing in some vicious sludgy parts before you’re allowed the easy way out while they belt out another despair-filled chorus. It’s every bit as aggressive and in your face though. This in no small part thanks to the heavily bass-driven production job that makes the whole thing sound particularly nasty. Having Blacklisted's George Hirsch and Life Long Tragedy’s Cody Sullivan scream along is like the little cherry on top of this monster making this yet another one of 2008’s hardcore releases you just can’t look past!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
