Recorded, mixed and mastered by the band themselves, ‘No Shame’ is a glorious return to form for 7 Years Bad Luck. For 20 years, these Austrian punks have been honing their skills while simultaneously staying true to your typical punk rock three-piece sound. The result? A dozen solid songs that will make you think of The Lawrence Arms, NOFX and Banner Pilot.

With the two lead singers taking turns, bouncy rhythms and a shitload of big hooks and catchy choruses, the album more than lives up to its title. The band takes its time to get things started with the slow-paced, melancholy-drenched opener that is ‘Colors,’ but once they get going there is simply no stopping them. More highlights come in the form of ‘I'll Forget You’, the NOFX-y ‘Remember To Let Go’, the driving ‘Four-Leaf Clover’ and the regret-laden ‘What’s Left’. That’s not to say the other songs fall short of being memorable. No shame? More like no duds.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
